About Island Vibez
Let us take your taste buds to Jamaica with our Authentic Caribbean Food prepared with love the Vibez way by our talented and creative Chefs.
Located at 858 E Twenty-Fifth St, Winston-Salem, NC 27105, Island Vibez operates as an other food place serving Winston-Salem in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as caterer, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9 pm. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (336) 306-9059. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 147 reviews, which is a strong result for an other food place in Winston-Salem and suggests consistent service.
Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Winston-Salem is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If you're looking for authentic Caribbean food in Winston-Salem, Island Vibez is definitely worth a visit! I ordered the oxtails with white rice and cabbage, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oxtails were tender, flavorful, and fell right off the bone. The cabbage was seasoned well and paired perfectly with the rice. A couple of things to note: the wait was a little longer than expected, but that's because the food is cooked to order, and you can definitely taste the difference. The music inside was also a bit louder than my preference, but it didn't take away from the quality of the meal. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and will definitely be back. Great food is always worth a little wait!

i stopped by this place on a random day after passing the restaurant for a while. i didnβt know that new management had taken over and created such a good restaurant with a great chef! great customer service and environment this place is great. honestly, i can say this with no bias.. this is the best Jamaican in the winston salem area. you can tell chef Hiskey Don has the passion and the true Jamaican flare thatβs needed to provide you with the best Jamaican food. iβm very particular with Jamaican food because thereβs soooo many misses but this is a hit! if youβre not coming here, youβre def missing out! donβt be like me and ask why didnβt i try this earlier! reminds me of real jamaican food straight from the island. the curry goat was perfect and the jerk was perfect as well as the mac and cheese even the veg was seasoned and tasted good. most places give you a side of nasty veg but this was good. that tells you everything he makes he put effort into! if im being truthful, everything was perfect. I could see myself going and getting something different off the menu every time I go there because I know itβs good. this isnβt a place where only specific items on the menu are good.

βββββ Absolute fire. No shortcuts. Real island vibes. I finally got a chance to eat at Island Vibez Jamaican Restaurant, and Iβm not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best restaurants Iβve had in Winston-Salem, PERIOD... From the moment I opened the container, the smell alone told me I was in for something special. The oxtails were falling off the bone. Slow cooked, rich, and full of flavor all the way through. Not just saucy on the outside, but seasoned deep. The gravy over the rice was perfect, not greasy, not watery, just straight comfort food done right. The mac and cheese deserves its own shout-out. Baked, cheesy, slightly crispy on top, and still creamy underneath. You can tell it wasnβt rushed or scooped from a tray thatβs been sitting all day. It tasted like somebody actually cared. Then there were the fried okra .. crispy, seasoned, and addictive. Even people who usually donβt like okra would mess these up. Every bite had that crunch without being oily. What really stood out to me was consistency. Everything on the plate worked together. Nothing felt like an afterthought. This is the kind of food that reminds you why Jamaican cuisine is special bold flavors, pat
